Quit Smoking
A Person convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still. I am not here to try and convince you to quit smoking. You KNOW that that is the right thing to do but whether or not you are going to do it is UP TO YOU.
You’re here, at this page which means that you have a real DESIRE to bring about a change (in which case you have half the battle won). A will to do something is the first step you need to take.
You know all the side effects of smoking. You have been bombarded by them from every angle since the new anti smoking laws were passed in various countries. You either want to but are not sure how to, or you KNOW that you SHOULD but you don’t really want to. Well if you fit in the bottom category it is going to be a really difficult ride for you, not impossible though.
Firstly, what are your motivations? You wanting to look after your own health and that of your families should be a GREAT motivating factor. Not to even go into what smoking costs you financially. Lung Cancer is the LEADING type of Cancer in the United States. We all know that Aids and tuberculosis are huge killers’ world wide but it is a scary thought when we sit back and let it sink in that smoking kills more people every year than those two diseases COMBINED!
I am sure by now you are aware of how smoking impacts on your quality of life. You cough, you get a sore throat and you may even suffer from dizziness and nausea but what about the life risking diseases it is linked too. Emphysema and bronchitis, to just begin naming a few things that can be directly caused by smoking.
Those are the obvious ones aren’t they? What about the fact that smoking may not be a direct cause of diseases, but is certainly a contributor to other forms of cancer. Cancers such as, cancer of the colon, cervix, pancreas, larynx, bladder, anus and Kidneys.
You are familiar with the greatest association we have with smoking and that is Lung Cancer. Please don’t be fooled by the thought process of “it won’t happen to me”. Those are always famous last words aren’t they? Well is it enough to know that every cigarette smoked shortens your life by about five minutes.
I have never been a smoker; my husband was until a year ago. We have two small children and it is just not worth putting their lives at risk (those with children, I am sure will agree) by exposing them to smoke.
Any exposure to smoke boosts a persons risk for a heart attack. Second hand smoke has been declared in some cases as more dangerous than smoking directly (and so we have these bans of smoking in Public Places) and passive smoke has been said to increase osteoporosis if you are exposed to it.
Studies have also linked smoking to a reduction in fertility and impotence. You may fall pregnant, have you ever considered the notion that you are exposing your baby to toxic chemicals?
I may be hitting a nerve here with people that I personally know, but I have a friend who has four children and has had two miscarriages. When she had her last miscarriage it was because she had had a pre mature membrane rupture and complications with the placenta leading to death.
Now those are just some of the things that happen when you smoke while you are pregnant. The Doctors didn’t put it down to that because she lied to them and told them that she did not smoke. She KNEW that what she was doing was putting her baby at risk (or she would never had felt the need to lie) but she failed to ACKNOWLEDGE to herself that she was doing wrong by smoking. Don’t fall into the same trap. Learn from other peoples mistakes.
No one said it was going to be easy. In fact nicotine addiction has been highly under rated.
Withdrawal is the pits! You become irritable, you snap at all those closest to you and you often think that you could just “kill for a cigarette” at that moment. I know I lived with people that tried to quit smoking. Hang in there though because you can beat it. Nicocure is a great product that has the same idea that I have. If you try and give up smoking then why do it with the same substance that is addictive in the first place. Nicotine.
You get all these Nicotine patches and gums that promise to do the trick and in many cases fail miserably. Would you give an alcoholic alcohol to get over his addiction? It does not make sense, does it? So why use nicotine to give up smoking?
There has been a debate amongst those in the know on whether or not nicotine spurs on lung cancer. Some say that there is a bond between nicotine and the receptors found lining the lungs air passages and that those bond further provokes lung cancer cell proliferation.
Studies have found that nicotine exposure among lung cancer patients have appeared to undermine chemotherapy’s effectiveness in killing off cancer cells, and instead appears to help create pathways that promote the cancer cell growth cycle.
So my opinion is due to this evidence why take the chance of damaging your health any further. You are after all trying to better your health, so give Nicocure a shot. Yes they use a combination of herbs, and the great thing is, they guarantee results in 30 days.
You have nothing to loose and your health to gain.
